Tokaji wines have received 15 awards at this year’s VinAgora Wine Competition. The Champion award in the Botrytised Wine category, along with a Gold, went to Pauleczki-Vin's 2000 6-puttonyos Muscat Lunel Aszú, while Heidrich's Aszú 5 puttonyos 2010 and Patricius's Late Harvest "Katinka" 2016 picked up Tokaj's two Grand Golds. The only Gold-medalist dry wine was Pajzos's Megyer Furmint Selection of 2015, also winning a Furmint Varietal Award.

VinAgora is Hungary’s leading wine competition and a truly international event, attracting hundreds of entries from over a dozen countries the world over. One of the key criteria of the VinAgora Awards is that a maximum of one-third of all entries may be awarded.
