A late festival breakfast was the new feature five of the thirteen participating wineries, Bardon, Budaházy-Fekete Kúria, Karádi&Berger, Préselő and Sanzon, offered during three days of this year's Wine Shine Bénye. While festival-goers of previous years had mostly had to take care of breakfast themselves or to settle with what the hotel or guest house they stayed at offered, now they suddenly had ample choice from full English breakfast to breakfast with sparkling wine and even a so-called 'cooper's breakfast' at the village museum. Whichever the location, the breakfasts started quite late to suit the leisurely routine of the festival audience, with Sanzon going so far as to serve 'breakfast' from 11 am to 2 pm.

The charming village of Erdőbénye (colloquially abbreviated to Bénye) has since 2009 been home to Wine, Shine, Bénye (Bor, Mámor, Bénye in HU), probably the Tokaj region's best wine and music festival. Makeshift stages and outdoor lounges in the gardens of over a dozen local wineries create the setting for the festival's familiar and laid-back atmosphere, bringing the audience as close as possible to performers and winemakers alike.
