KÚRIA BISTRO SHAKES UP THE RESTAURANT SCENE IN ERDŐBÉNYE

Opened by Budaházy-Fekete Kúria's owner/winemaker Rémusz Dávid's around a month ago, Kúria Bistro is an uplifting addition to the virtually non-existent restaurant scene in Erdőbénye, the charming village that badly lacked quality eateries since Attilla Homonna'a Gigerli project ended a few years ago. While only open from Friday to Sunday, the Kúria offers a short menu of carefully composed dishes that varies every day, and the beautifully landscaped garden of the 17th-century mansion provides a tranquil setting for lunch, dinner or a catch-up with friends over a bottle of wine or two. The wine list, of course, comprises a selection of Rémusz's wines.
